Ryan Reynolds gets naked with Sandra Bullock

Ryan Reynolds exclusively told handbag.com that a single, strategically placed, rhinestone was the only thing between him and Sandra Bullock in the nude scene in their latest film The Proposal.

When asked about the scene, in which the actor runs into a wet Sandra while they’re both naked, Ryan said, “Well, the banging part was weird… for me. But I’ve known Sandra for nine years, she’s never done a nude scene.” He went on to add, “I was given one single rhinestone, and I was allowed to place it anywhere I wanted and I chose a spot. It didn’t provide a lot of coverage.”

It sounds as though the pair had a lot of fun on set, and when asked about the atmosphere Reynolds said, “It was hysterical, we’re working with people who are clinically insane.”

The Proposal sees Ryan playing Andrew Paxton, PA to the terrifying publisher Margaret Tate (Sandra Bullock). When a green card issue threatens to see Margaret deported to Canada she bribes Andrew into marrying her, leading to some highly funny high-jinx.

When asked why she picked Ryan for the role in the film, director Anne Fletcher gushed, “He’s gorgeous and charismatic, I mean he’s got the whole package.” We couldn’t agree more.
