Rubina Ali has called Nicole Kidman “strange” in her new autobiography Slumgirl Dreaming: My Journey To The Stars, according to the Daily Mail. The newspaper say they have seen an early copy of the book, written by the nine-year-old Slumdog star, and that it reveals the inside story on Rubina’s life, before and after Slumdog Millionaire. It is also said to contain revelations about working on a Schweppes ad with Nicole Kidman.
In the French commercial, filmed in India, Rubina plays a small child who becomes enchanted with Nicole’s princess character. But despite sharing a trailer together, Rubina admitted that she didn’t really get to know Nicole very well. Rubina is reported as saying, “I really like her, but she was very quiet and didn’t speak much. I think she was a bit shy.” She goes on to describe Nicole as “strange” because she refused to come out of her trailer over the whole the shoot, it has been suggested because she was afraid of the sun on her alabaster complexion.
