Pete Doherty’s rehab diary

Pete Doherty has admitted in the diary he kept while in rehab that he’s scared drugs will make him bankrupt, mad or dead.

Pages from Pete Doherty’s rehab diary have been printed in The Sun today painting a sad picture of his life. “If I had not been chemically dependent my life would have been extremely manageable. No jail, no rehab, normal functioning friendships and relationships and a lucrative, respectable career,” he says in one entry. He goes on to talk about the tragic effect his addiction has had on his relationship with son Astile. “My baby’s mother has always kept my son at a distance in the light of my active addiction. This has caused me severe loss in terms of missing out on a potentially beautiful relationship with the young fella.” Police are said to be investigating last week’s footage of him injecting heroin – let’s hope he finally wins the battle this time.
