Friends ‘relieved’ Nicole Richie hospitalised
Nicole Richie’s friends say they are ‘relieved’ the star has been admitted to hospital with pneumonia, as it will force her to slow down.
Patrick Swayze has signed up to appear in 13 episodes of a new TV show called The Beast. Earlier this year it was announced that he was suffering with serious pancreatic cancer and he will continue his treatment while he films the show in Chicago. "I have searched for quite a long time to find a character that is this multi-layered, unpredictable and downright entertaining, as well as a project this current and cutting-edge." Swayze said in a statement. The Beast is scheduled to hit screens in Spring 2009.
