Mum weighs in on Christian Bale tantrum

Christian Bale’s mother has revealed it was “upsetting” to hear her son’s recent film set outburst.

Jenny Bale, mother of Dark Knight star Christian Bale has admitted it was "upsetting" to hear her son's recent outburst. In a recently-leaked tape, the actor can be heard having a furious tantrum at Director of Photography Shane Hurlbut, who'd interrupted a scene on the new Terminator movie. "Seriously, man we're f***ing done professionally. I want you off the f***ing set, you pr**k," Christian is clearly heard shouting. "I haven't spoken to Christian about it, but I have listened to most of it and he was clearly very angry. People might now realise that that is his temper, and they might understand a bit more," Jenny, who last year saw her son arrested at the Dorchester hotel over claims he'd attacked her and his sister, told the Mirror. "I wish he hadn't carried this on so long or so fiercely, it was upsetting to hear him. He is a perfectionist and if you are doing an intense scene and someone is spoiling a shot, it takes time to get it back." But  Hollywood stars have spoken out to defend the Batman actor. "We don't know if this is at the end of the day. We don't know how many hours he has been working and it's tough," Whoopi Goldberg claimed. "I mean I know it sounds ridiculous but I too have gone off on people because if you're a professional you know what you're not supposed to do. It is your art form."
