Mother-in-law rounds on Andre

Katie Price’s mother has slammed her daughter’s estranged husband, Peter Andre.

Amy Price, reality TV star Katie's mum, has called Peter Andre a "pr**k", in an interview with The People newspaper. "Everything that has been written about Katie has been so one-sided, it's not fair. We think Pete has been a p***k, but Katie won't stand up for herself over it. But the way he has behaved during all of this has been really wrong," Amy said. "Katie will get through this but it's been a very, very difficult time for her. What has happened has hit her hard, and she is having a hard time. When she's busy she's OK, but there are times when she is sitting there doing nothing and has time to think, that she finds it really tough." In other news insiders have told the News Of The World that Katie has agreed to a ‘quickie' divorce. "This has been a landmark couple of days for Katie. It's sad, but she's given up the fight. She now accepts she's never getting Peter back and is ready to move on with her life," the source claims. "It hasn't been easy but she knows it's necessary to enable her to eventually get on with things. She's gone from refusing to consider the possibility of divorce to agreeing it's a necessity. She doesn't want it dragging on and has decided that if this is what Peter really wants then that's what he's going to get."
