Mariah Carey had marriage doubts

Warbler Mariah Carey has confessed she serious doubts before her surprise wedding earlier this year.

Mariah Carey has admitted the 10-year age gap between herself and new husband Nick Cannon gave her doubts. The couple were together for just six weeks before getting hitched in Bahamas earlier this year but when asked if she had doubts she told Showbiz Spy, “You know what, I did. But he doesn't act like it [younger] - he's really very intelligent. He's a very business-minded person, but he's also a lot of fun so you don't really think about those things. It is what it is,” before adding, “I've been with someone older (Mariah was married to record boss Tommy Mottola for five years until 1998) and that could be a disaster or maybe you have to throw that side away and don't think about it - think about who's right for you.”
