Lindsay Lohan to get restraining order against dad

American actress Lindsay Lohan is “actively getting a restraining order” against her father Michael.

Lindsay Lohan is to take a restraining order out against her father Michael, People magazine reports. Michael has appeared frequently in the press over the last two years to criticise Lindsay and last week even went as far as to suggest he is planning to perform an intervention on his daughter. "Over the next couple of weeks I'm going to be doing things in a pretty public way. But Dina [Lindsay's mother] has got to get on the same page with me. It's a serious situation. You can't just talk about it and tell me that you want to do an intervention and then do nothing," Michael told Radar Online. "When Lindsay doesn't adhere or listen to what I say about serious situations, I feel I have to speak publicly to put pressure on her. If she doesn't take my advice and do what I say... the more pressure I put on her, the more likely she is to eventually do the right thing."
However, Lindsay's isn't pleased with her father's public outbursts. "Lindsay is actively getting a restraining order," the insider said. "Her lawyers have already been contacted. She's scared. This is really serious." Her mother Dina shares her views. "Michael Lohan needs to focus on being a parent, paying child support, of which he is six months behind, and making up for all the years he was an absentee dad," she said. "And stop going on national television talking about his children publicly."
