Lily Allen suffers miscarriage

We are sad to report that 22-year-old Lily Allen has suffered a miscarriage.

Lily Allen Lily Allen’s record company has announced the LDN star had a miscarriage days after returning from a romantic break in the Maldives with her boyfriend, Chemical Brother’s Ed Simons, 37. A spokesman from her record company said, “We can confirm that Lily Allen has suffered a miscarriage. She and her partner Ed Simons will be making no further comment and we ask that their privacy be respected during this difficult time.” Friends close to the pair told the Sun that the couple are “in a state of shock”. Lily had made a name for herself as a party girl but dropped out of the scene when it was announced she was pregnant with her first child in December. A friend said, “Lily’s entire outlook on life changed after she found out she was pregnant. She was looking forward to being a mum and starting a family with Ed. She had turned her back on her party girl image and had turned over a new leaf.” Recently Lily had also spoken of her delight at being pregnant, “I’ve looked forward to being stable my whole life. My parents are amazing, but it has been a whirlwind upbringing. I have got my eye on the prize, which is having kids and getting married and cooking dinner and doing homework with my children.” Our thoughts are with Lily and Ed.
