Friends ‘relieved’ Nicole Richie hospitalised
Nicole Richie’s friends say they are ‘relieved’ the star has been admitted to hospital with pneumonia, as it will force her to slow down.
Piers Morgan has caused controversy by claiming that cocaine makes people behave like Kate Moss. Writing in the Daily Mail, Morgan compared the punishments handed down to footballers Emmanuel Adebayor - who received a short ban for kicking a fellow player in the face - and Adrian Mutu - the former Chelsea player who was banned for seven months and recently ordered to pay his old £14.65m after admitting using cocaine. "What is the worse crime - snorting a few lines of cocaine or kicking a man hard, and quite deliberately, in the head? On balance, I'd probably veer towards the latter," Morgan writes. "The first offence, after all, is a self-titillating, self-harming, rather pitiful pastime that turns you all 'Kate Mossy' - sweating, scowling, swearing, self-obsessed and oh soooooooooooo boring. But the only real victim is usually the one taking the stuff, if you discount the poor Colombian paupers coerced into making it."
