Jessica Simpson slammed by animal rights group

Singer Jessica Simpson has been slammed by animal rights group Peta for wearing a T-shirt declaring her love of meat.

Jessica Simpson has been panned by animal rights group People For The Ethical Treatment Of Animals and fashion experts for wearing a T-shirt declaring ‘Real girls eat meat’. “Jessica Simpson's meaty wardrobe malfunction makes us thankful that no one is looking to her for food advice,” a spokesman for the group said. He went on to poke fun at some of the gaffs the singer had made on her reality TV show Newlyweds: “Chicken-of-the-Sea anyone? The woman who thought that Buffalo wings came from buffalos would benefit from some good veggie brain food.” And Peta aren’t the only ones trashing the T-shirt, handbag.com’s fashion director Belinda White said, “Aside from the general aura of wrongness this look is exuding, her t-shirt is in particular bad taste. At best it could be a very lame double entendre but I doubt that Jessica's brain works on that many levels.” Ouch.
