Jack Nicholson has confessed he's furious at not given the role of the Joker in the upcoming Batman sequel The Dark Knight.

Jack Nicholson, who played the Joker in Tim Burton's '90s Batman movie, has confessed that he's angry that he wasn't given the chance to reprise the role in the upcoming Batman movie, The Dark Knight. Speaking to MTV he said, "It's like, in any area, you can't believe the reasons things do or don't happen. Not asking me how to do the sequel is that kind of thing. Maybe it's not a mistake. Maybe it was the right thing, but to be candid, I'm furious," he moaned. "The Joker comes from my childhood. That's how I got involved with it in the first place. It's a part I always thought I should play." Now we don't want to be rude but Jack's just turned 70, who would your money be on in a scrap between him and buff Batman?
