Kiefer Sutherland was accused of attacking a fashion designer back in May. The star of 24 had been charged with third degree assault after he allegedly head-butted Proenza Schouler designer Jack McCollough in New York in May, but the case was dropped. It was claimed that Keifer went Jack Bauer on McCollough after the designer pushed actress Brooke Shields to the ground in nightclub SubMercer. Keifer later settled the incident with Jack and they released a joint statement. Keifer said, “I'm sorry about what happened that night and sincerely regret that Mr McCollough was injured”. While Jack added, “I appreciate Mr. Sutherland's statement and wish him well.” For this reason Manhattan District Attourney (DA) spokeswoman Alicia Maxey Greene confirmed, “We declined to prosecute after a full investigation. And that included speaking to the complaining witness who was quite uncooperative…therefore, the DA declined to prosecute.”

It's like they say: Jack Bauer doesn't follow protocol. Protocol follows Jack Bauer.
