Gordon Ramsay bids to save marriage

Super chef Gordon Ramsay has apologised to wife Tana after being accused of having had a seven-year affair.

Gordon Ramsay has said sorry to his wife Tana after being accused of having an affair with author Sarah Symonds, a friend has told the Mirror. Ramsay is said to be appalled Tana has had to endure the humiliation of the allegations but has assured her he has only met Symonds four times. “I’m so sorry I’ve put Tana through this. I've apologised to her and feel absolutely dreadful. I feel I’ve been a fool. She really doesn’t deserve all this grief,” the source claims Gordon told him, before adding, “Gordon was honest with Tana. It was the least he could do in light of all what’s happened. He is so remorseful over putting her and the kids through such an ordeal. As you would expect, he's also very angry and says a lot of it is complete b*******.” Symonds, an ex of disgraced Tory peer Jeffrey Archer and author of guides on how to be a mistress, is expected to make more allegations in this weekend’s tabloids.
