However, insiders claim he was incensed after losing a host of stars to Madonna’s last-minute do. Despite the likes of Lionel Richie, JC Chasez and Simon Cowell attending Elton’s soiree, Madonna’s party saw big Hollywood hitters such as Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, Cameron Diaz, Owen Wilson and Penelope Cruz. “Elton despises Madonna and this has made things way worse,” a source told the blog.
