Wife boots Mark Owen out
Mark Owen has been told to move out of his home following his shock admission yesterday that he had cheated on his wife with around 10 women.
Media watchdog Ofcom have ruled that Dannii Minogue’s comments about X Factor contestant Danyl Johnson’s sexuality did not breach its broadcasting guidelines. Last month, Ofcom received almost 4,000 complaints when Minogue suggested Johnson, who has admitted to being bisexual, did not need to change the gender reference in the Jennifer Hudson song And I Am Telling You. However, after investigating the remark Ofcom ruled it, “did not discern a pejorative or homophobic intent behind her comment".
“It was not outside the established nature of the programme for an X Factor judge to make such a comment... especially in circumstances where the performer had placed information about his sexuality in the public domain," the report continued. “Broadcasters need to exercise caution in this area, when the subject of sexual orientation may foreseeably arise in the context of a live programme. In no way should 'outing' of participants in television programmes be encouraged, condoned or legitimised."
