Coke disappoints Jack White
White Stripes star Jack White has said he was “disappointed” that Coca Cola have used his new James Bond theme tune, Another Way To Die, in their new ads.
Jack White has moved to distance himself from a new TV advert for Coca Cola that uses Another Way To Die, his new James Bond theme tune. Coke Zero has been re-branded Coke Zero Zero 7 in the build up to the new film Quantum Of Solace and the company have used a version of the track on their new ads and Jack’s not happy about it. “Jack White was commissioned by Sony Pictures to write a theme song for the James Bond film 'Quantum Of Solace', not for Coca Cola," the White Stripes singer’s management say in a statement to NME.com. "Any other use of the song is based on decisions made by others, not by Jack White. We are disappointed that you first heard the song in a co-promotion for Coke Zero, rather than in its entirety."
