Batman star Christian Bale has been arrested following claims he assaulted his mother and sister.
Christian Bale has been arrested in London by officers investigating claims The Dark Knight star assaulted his mother and sister at the Dorchester Hotel in London on Sunday night. A Metropolitan Police spokesman confirmed a 34-year-old man had been arrested in connection with an allegation of assault, and remained in custody. “A 34-year-old man attended a police station in central London by appointment and was arrested in connection with an allegation of assault - he currently remains in custody.” The actor was said to have handed himself in voluntarily to police yesterday after cancelling a day of promotional radio interviews.
