We’ve been wondering where all the money has gone since the credit crunch hit, but finally we think we’ve found the answer. While the rest of us are all counting our pennies and keeping an eye on the latest sales, it seems that Katie Holmes is spending cash for all of us. Earlier this week Sources told the New York Post that Mrs Tom Cruise has spent £10m in just six months since moving to New York in July. “Mrs Cruise has been valiantly doing her bit to boost our economy,” the paper claimed. The Post suggested that Katie had bought three loft apartments, spent £5,000 on dining, £11,700 on clothes, £4,800 installing gym equipment, £3,245 on cultural activities and £9,600 on additional childcare. What credit crunch?
