He has one of the hardest jobs in the world, yet Barack Obama still manages to find downtime with his daughters Malia, 10, and Sasha, eight. Here he is welcoming their new dog Bo to the White House.

For Father’s Day this year Barack acknowledged his shortcomings as a father. In a heartfelt message, which will be published in Parade magazine this week, he said, “There were many days out on the campaign trail when I felt like my family was a million miles away and I knew I was missing moments of my daughters’ lives that I’d never get back. It is a loss I will never fully accept.”
