No one was more shocked than us when it emerged that the world's most fashionable couple, Strokes player Albert Hammond Jr and supermodel Agyness Deyn split in March. The couple met in 2008 at the American NME Awards and spent the next 10 months glued at the hip, cycling, kissing and cuddling all over New York and, although they never confirmed it, the pair apparently got engaged a few months into their relationship with Albert gushing, "When I met Agyness it came from such an innocent, truthful place, and the way I feel about her is so honest. I respect and love her so much. I've found someone that I want to be with and have a family with." The relationship is said to have gone downhill after the pair were involved in US Vogue's Valentine-themed fashion shoot together.
