Foul-mouthed super chef
Gordon Ramsay has apologised for insulting a TV host, after drawing criticism from Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd. Ramsay allegedly called A Current Affair host Tracey Grimshaw “a lesbian” – a claim he denies – and an “ugly old pig” at the Melbourne Good Food and Wine Show. Grimshaw was quick to defend herself. “I’m not going to sit meekly and let some arrogant narcissist bully me,” she explained on her show. “Obviously Gordon thinks that any woman that doesn’t find him attractive must be gay. For the record, I don’t and I’m not.” The Australian Prime Minister then gave his two cents. “All I could describe his remarks as reflecting is a new form of low life,” he said. “I just think that’s off and offensive. Good on Tracy Grimshaw for coming out and giving him an upper left cut.” But Ramsay denied calling Tracy a lesbian. “It’s blown out of context,” he said adding, “I never once used the word lesbian.”
