Britney stepped further into the limelight with the launch of her latest world tour, The Circus Starring Britney Spears in March 2009. This was Britney’s first tour in five years so the pop princess had a lot to live up to – and she didn’t disappoint. The 27-year-old star had over a dozen costume changes in keeping with the circus theme, including a ringmaster, policewoman, a belly dancer and an impressive crew of jugglers, trapeze artists, fire breathers. There were some complaints that Britney didn’t interact with the crowd, only shouting, “Thank you, New Orleans!” at the end of the almost two-hour show, and that she seemed to lip sync along to some numbers, although most fans have probably come to expect that now…

Who knows what Britney will do next? One thing's for sure, we'll definitely be watching.
