Friends of Britney Spears are calling for fans to boycott her new album, due out next week
As the rest of the world gear up for the release of Britney Spears' new album (due to hit the shelves next week), a group erstwhile ‘friends' of Britney have set up a MySpace page, urging fans not to buy it.
The concerned faction, who have named themselves ‘Be Proactive To Help', are said to comprise of people who used to work with Britney, including a bodyguard, back-up dancer and make-up artist, as well as several old friends.
"Our message is simple, don't buy her stuff until she's better." screams the hot pink MySpace page, "Save the pop star, save the world."
Yep, make sure her album is a flop, people - that's bound to make her turn her life around! There's no way she'll want to turn to drink and drugs for comfort after that.
