Hindu leaders have questioned Madonna’s generosity after she donated a pair of her old shoes to a charity auction.
A new musical satirising the lives of David and Victoria Beckham is set to open in Dublin's Olympia Theatre in January. MacBecks (groan) is being put on by Long Road Productions, who previously worked with Riverdance. "We're very excited by the script," Company director Rowan Smith says. "It's a wild comedy romp that borrows from Shakespeare's Macbeth, King Lear, Romeo and Juliet, as well as Cyrano de Bergerac. It will be a musical based on the world's best known soccer player."
