Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz marry

Ashlee Simpson “managed to hide her pregnancy well” at her wedding to Pete Wentz on Saturday.

Ashlee Simpson "didn't really look pregnant" at her Alice In Wonderland-themed wedding to Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz over the weekend. According to E! Online, Ashlee "managed to hide her pregnancy pretty well" as the bride wore a sexy black dress to dance the night away after a top-secret ceremony. There were over 100 guests, including Nicole Richie and Joel Madden, and People reports that Ashlee's big sister Jessica Simpson acted as made of honour while Pete's bulldog Hemingway was ring bearer.

 
Despite Ashlee's dad Joe Simpson not always approving of Pete, the wedding was held at the Simpsons' family home in LA, with Joe officiating. Ashlee wore an ivory Monique Lhullier gown for the ceremony, while the bridesmaids and guests all wore black and were given a parting gift of a black and red cookie proclaiming "Eat Me." Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz may have denied their short engagement was due to Ashlee being pregnant, but we say watch this space!
