Meryl Streep hits out at plastic surgery
Mamma Mia! star Meryl Streep has slammed cosmetic surgery in Hollywood.
59-year-old Meryl Streep has moaned at the growing number of actors in Hollywood having plastic surgery. “"It's not just women. You'd be amazed how many men in this industry have gone down that road. I just don't get it,” she told Good Housekeeping magazine. “I think you have to embrace getting older and celebrate life. I thought I was washed up at 40, I really did, and there were lots of reasons to think that,” she explained. “There were not a lot of interesting scripts, I could find one a year maybe and that was more than for most women my age. Now I think that's changing a little. The good thing about getting older is that when they do cast you it's often something interesting - you're no longer asked to be the beautiful leading lady.”

(3)Meryl Streep is fabulous. When people have plastic surgery they don't look younger they just look like they had plastic surgery! Shiny-faced freaks! hahaha!

Absolutely! She is a role model for us all. Men and women alike. But you know it doesn't come easy. She's got to watch her exercise and what she eats just like the rest of us. Of course, she's probably got top notch stuff like Purple drinks and personal trainer and all. More power to her. I love her work.

What is she really "moaning" about? About the competition? About the people motivated to improve how they feel about themselves?
I can see moaning about the pressure to be more beautiful, but heck, that's not really going away any time soon.
I'm a guy, I was big, I lost 65 pounds, I had liposuction to help change my shape and get rid of the little bulges that reminded me how big Ihad been before. I loved it, I would do it again in a heartbeat. Granted, I only had like 2 pounds removed, but still, it was great.
Anyone who wants should go read more about it before they moan about what others choose to do for themselves. He's the link to my liposuction surgeon in Sacramento.
