Christina Applegate cancer free

Anchorman star Christina Applegate has confirmed she is clear of cancer after having a double mastectomy.

Christina Applegate has been given the all clear just over three weeks after having both breasts removed after being diagnosed with cancer. “I'm clear. Absolutely 100 percent clear and clean,” the Anchorman star told Good Morning America. “It did not spread. They got everything out, so I'm definitely not going to die from breast cancer.” Applegate also said the cancer was found through the second of two MRI tests as a follow-up from a biopsy she had last year. “I was so mad [when I found out] and I just remember I was just shaking and then also immediately, I had to go into 'take-care-of-business-mode,'” she explained. “Which was, I asked them, 'What do I do now? What is it that I do? I get a doctor, I get a surgeon, I get an oncologist? What do I do?’”

i JUST WANT TO COMMENT ON ALL THE HYPE ABOUT CHRISTINA APPLEGATE AND HER CANCER. I WAS SORRY TO HEAR SHE HAD CANCER, BUT YOU KNOW SHE IS VERY LUCKY. I HAD CANCER IN BOTH SIDES, HAD TO HAVE BOTH REMOVED, THEN I HAD TO GO THRU MONTHS AND MONTHS OF CHEMOTHERAPY AND RADIATION...LOST ALL MY HAIR, LOST 42 POUNDS, AND SICK FOREVER. SO SEE SHE JUST NEEDS TO GO ON AND QUITE BEING SUCH A BABY...i AM HAPPY THAT EVERYTHING CAME OUT GOOD. I JUST THINK OF ALL US REGULAR PEOPLE WHO HAVE HAD IT SO MUCH WORSE THAN THESE STARS.
