Cher not playing Catwoman

Insiders have rubbished rumours Cher has been cast in the role of Catwoman in a new Batman film.

Batman insiders have rubbished claims Cher has been cast as Catwoman in a new Batman film. Earlier this week an insider told the Mirror, “Cher is (director) Christopher Nolan's first choice to play Catwoman. He wants to portray her like a vamp in her twilight years.” However a representative for Warner Bros was quick to shoot the gossip down, “those casting rumors are untrue.” In fact a third film is still not set in stone despite The Dark Knight’s incredible success. “There are a lot of us who emotionally would love to do it,” Producer Chuck Roven says. “But it’s really Chris’ call. Chris is the kind of filmmaker who just doesn’t think about the next movie before he has completely finished the movie he is working on. Nolan is taking a well-earned vacation. When he comes back, we will see how he feels.”
