If you’ve been following our behind the scenes blog from London Fashion Week you’ll have noticed that we managed to sneak backstage at PPQ to watch Rachel Wood create the Moroccan-inspired make-up using lovely Benefit products – and now you can watch her too! With a focus on brushed-up brows, doll-like lashes and natural looking skin, it was a welcome return to pretty-as-a-picture spring/summer make-up. To complement the doll demeanour, James Read created the ‘mannequin tan’ using Fake Bake – flawless and iridescent think plastic fantastic while the hair was inspired by Debbie Harry. Led by session superstar, Duffy the centre parting was a nod to the ‘70s while a hair extension here and there, a serious amount of backcombing, Pantene’s Extra Strong Hold Hairspray and Frederic Fekkai’s Oceanic Tousled Wave Spray helped to create the desert-dry, triangular-shaped tresses.
