With designers either opting for bright flashes of colour or keeping it barely there, it\'s enough to confuse even the biggest trend follower. But we reckon there is no reason you can\'t enjoy both; neons, brights, colours and nudes can be worn all summer long, each providing their own look and their own statement.

Greens were seen on the Gucci catwalk, Katie Holmes wore a flash of lilac at a recent event and Cindy Crawford sported some blue hues just this week. So there you have it - colour is trendy! We found that pale skins look great with blues, light greens and lilacs while darker complexion can pull of the pinks, oranges and flashes of deep blue. Don\'t be afraid to give it a go - this season is all about expression.

Now here\'s one that allows you to mix both these trends - yes, you can opt for a natural eye and then add some colourful mascara if you are not feeling too daring. Steer clear of pinks and reds however; this will forever be a tricky lash colour to pull off.
