Celebrity spy who I saw this week
Phew its been a busy week! Firstly I met Elizabeth Hurley at the famous Light Up Pink Breast Cancer Awareness event on Tuesday evening - this year Liz turned on the famous twinkly Harrods lights (it was in 3D!!!) while raising awareness with beauty giants Estée Lauder (she is a global ambassador). I sipped on pink champagne, ate yummy Harrods canapés (mini fish cakes delicious!) and mingled with Liz who was in a sparkly pink sari mini dress.
Then on Wednesday it was onto the Dita Von Teese My Private Cointreau Coffret party at Selfridges for the launch of her new £199 vanity case launching into the store. Collaborating with Cointreau the evening was all about schmoozing after hours in the shopping Mecca, sipping on Cointreau cocktails (eating the odd canapé!) and admiring Dita's impeccable style. She was tiny and simply flawless. Check out that dress.
Finally this afternoon I shared afternoon tea (more eating!) with Alexa Chung - the new face of Lacostes latest fragrance, Pink. Wearing her trademark eyeliner flicks, shaggy two-toned bob and some high-waisted leather shorts to die-for, Alexa said that the most important part of her beauty routine is to moisturise, moisturise, moisturise but that she often goes to bed without taking her make-up off (tut, tut!). Plus her biggest make-up inspiration comes from the 60s and she classes her fashion style as preppy, geeky, not overtly sexy and tomboyish. And what does she think of the fragrance? Well she loves it of course, but mainly she loves the bold fresh citrus notes which she claims you can wear day and night. We cant help but agree...
And now to next week we meet Dannii Minogue so check back to get the lowdown.
