Hurrah! This month The Sanctuary Spa opened several luxurious city spas across the country so that escaping for a bit of pampering is now much, much easier. Although I will always have a soft spot for their Central London Covent Garden spa with its spa pools, Koi Carp lounge, relaxation areas, atrium pool (complete with swing) and a la carte restaurant, I was pleased to hear that you now dont have to be in London to get a bit of that famous Sanctuary spa lovin.
And what treatment do I recommend you book in for as we head into A/W? Well, the new Kyphi Hot Sugar Scrub is the ideal way to spruce up your skin after the summer so its definitely a must. During this treatment you lie on a waterproof bed so unlike other full body scrubs there is no getting up and down and into the shower which makes it even more relaxing. Simply lie back as they apply the exfoliating sweet-smelling Kyphi Nourishing Hot Sugar Scrub all over to rub away any dead skin cells and then relax as they rinse it off while you lie there warm water is always relaxing. Saving the best til last the treatment finishes with a full body massage and an application of their fantastically hydrating massage and body oil. Bliss. Of course you can then use the spa facilities; enjoy a manicure, a lay down in their relaxation room or perhaps a glass or wine (I know what I would prefer), all in a trademark Sanctuary fluffy robe. I found this the ideal treatment to give post-holiday tanned skin a wake-up after the summer. And lets face it you dont need to be showing skin to have sexy skin its worth it all year round I always say.
My tip for those saving their pennies? Log onto the thesanctuary.co.uk and treat yourself to the Kyphi products and do a mini scrub at home!
