Elle Macpherson Glow Airbrush Tan

This is the first fake tan I have ever used which doesn\'t have that horrible tan smell. Instead the spray has a light Patchouli smell which is subtle enough not to overpower your perfume. I found this incredibly easy to use and had coated my entire body with a fine coating of tan in under a minute, perfect for when getting ready to go out or before getting dressed for work as it only takes five minutes to dry. My skin was left with a great natural tan within ten minutes and the only negative point about this is that it only lasts a couple of days but it\'s so quick and easy to use it\'s no bother topping it up regularly.

Matis Self Tanning Body Spray

I was a little dubious about testing this tanning spray as it has a very strong peppery smell. However, despite the odour this easy-to-use spray left a great even colour which earned me plenty of compliments throughout the day. Its main strength is definitely its instant drying power, great for girls in a rush.

Dior Bronze Self-tanning Spray Natural Glow

I loved the Dior bronze make-up spray so thought I would give the self-tan version a go and it didn\'t disappoint. The light spray gave me a great looking natural golden tan and left my skin looking luminous and red-carpet worthy. You can also re-apply the spray after three hours if you want a deeper looking tan, so great for girls of all skin tones. A bit pricy but worth it for the streak-free golden glow I exuded all week, shame the weather didn\'t let me show it off in all its glory.

St Tropez Everyday Airbrush

Everyday Airbrush has a fab can that gives a 360 degree spray so you can easily reach all those awkward places behind your knees on and your back. As part of the St Tropez Everyday range it is supposed to give just a light natural tan but I have very fair skin and found the colour quite deep. Having said that it would look great topping up a natural tan come the summer or to pep up a salon spray tan. Or if you\'re lucky enough to have olive toned skin this tan will look great on you.

Having tried the Self Sun face tinted lotion and loved the colour and radiant glow it gave my face I decided to be brave and try this spray on my whole body. The spray develops in just one hour and then deepens over 24 hours. So applying the tan the night before I was going out meant I was all tanned and lovely for a night on the tiles. I found the colour suitable and natural even for my pale English rose skin tone. Great product and range.
