Alexa has a metaphorical fight with My Little Pony and emerges with new pink hair

Alexa Chung has had her signature style locked down for a while, but that didn't stop her mixing things up with bright pink highlights this weekend.

Perhaps taking her look-at-me hairspiration from the likes of Kelly Osbourne, Nicki Minaj and, erm, My Little Pony, the style fave showed off her vibrant new hue on Instagram.

Instead of the popular washout dye menthod, Alexa appeared to be working the trend with quirky extensions as she styled her locks into a choppy textured topknot.
