Khloe Kardashian is leading the New Year beauty resolutions as she experiments with vampy lipstick.

Naturally the New Year will see many of us vow to mix up our lip palettes, only to fall back in the routine of wearing the same old shades. Sound familiar?

But alas, Khloe is taking advantage of this season's goth-glam trend as she showed off a heavy hued pout on Instagram.

Don't be fooled by the pic's quirky filter though, Khloe's statement look came courtesy of a dark purple lippy.
