Demi Lovato appears to have traded styles with X Factor's Ella Henderson as she showed off a similar look on the US live show last night.

Ditching her super-tight topknot, the brunette star nailed the retro look with precision rolls.

Sweeping one side across her shoulder, she worked a structured fringe with tight, tumbling waves.

Colourful make-up accents provided the perfect finishing touch, as she swapped in a pink pout for her usual red shade.

Clean eyeliner flicks and warm yellow shadow completed her pop art complexion, along with cool two-tone nail designs.
