Urban Decay Surreal Skin Cream to Powder Foundation in Fate
\r\n\r\n\"I haven\'t used a cream to powder foundation for a long time as I like light coverage but this compact from Urban Decay gave a great matte finish without leaving behind an oily, heavy layer of make-up. I did have to touch-up a couple of times during the day but overall, I was really pleased with the natural look this gave. It\'s great for those always on the go.\"
\r\n\r\nBest for: Those with combination skin and a light coverage.

Maybelline Dream Satin Liquid

\"Touted at giving a poreless-looking complexion and airbrush finish I was interested in discovering if this high street brand could compete with the more expensive versions and I was pleasantly surprised. Applied with a foundation brush it evened out my skin tone without giving me a frozen mask-like finish. My skin looked radiant and bright rather than flat and matte and the end result was similar to the coverage I get when using a more expensive foundation. Well done Maybelline, this is a hardworking high street foundation that gives an A-list finish.\"

Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation SPF 15

\"With pale skin that has a tendency towards dryness, redness and the odd spot - I ask a lot of my foundation and am not easily impressed. This foundation however, was up to the task. While the foundation looked darker than my usual, it seamlessly adapted to my porcelain skin leaving a natural result, yet covered a multitude of red blotches. The staying power was also impressive and I didn\'t need any touch-ups - even before a night out. However, like most foundations it worked best on hydrated looked-after skin. Overall however, a fabulously versatile foundation that gives a natural, healthy look.\"

Best for: Blotchy skin prone to redness.

\"I instantly loved this dewy hydrating foundation. As someone who suffers with open pores and an uneven skin tone it did well to leave my complexion looking even and luminous. It contains photochromatic pigments which reflect light to help boost the appearance of dull skin and cover fine lines. Plus, it has an SPF 20 which was perfect for my fair sensitive skin. I will continue to use this one.\"

Perricone MD No Foundation Foundation

\"This anti-ageing translucent foundation is supposed to suit all skin tones but if you are very pale do give it a miss. However, my English rose complexion could take the coverage as it blends down to give sheer coverage while still providing sun protection, anti-ageing benefits and neutralising any skin discolouration. This foundation is perfect for day-to-day wear as my skin still felt able to breathe but for an evening I found I wanted more coverage. A great product for the working week as you\'ll be giving your skin all the protection it needs without overloading it.\"

\r\n\r\n\r\n

Best for: Olive skin tones and a light coverage.
