I love the look of liquid liner but every time I try to do it I look like a cheap drag queen. My hand is not steady and they are never even. What can I do?

Give up. Throw in the towel. Liquid liner is not for everyone and the thing that makes me say this, is your comment about not having a steady hand. There are also certain eye shapes that simply will not take a liquid line.

If I were to see you I might be able to help, but the unsteady hand thing? That is an accident waiting to happen! Try using a gel liner, like Bobbi Brown, and applying it on the inside of the upper lid - easy as pie and just as clean as a liquid without the mess.

You can see how to do this on the Handbag TV segment I did on Smoky Eyes. Plus you will be able to see the difference of one with and one without. And if it makes you feel any better - I am completely crap at applying liquid liner! 25 years of doing makeup and I get in a dither each and every time! LOL

I have been using the same skincare products for more years than I can remember and all of a sudden I seem to be allergic. Is this possible? They swear they have not changed the formula but I am not so sure.

Any suggestions?

Actually this is not all that uncommon. It is not necessarily that you have become allergic, but you may have become intolerant. There might be an ingredient that your skin is not exactly allergic to but that it doesn't like. It has put up with it for as long as it could and has finally had enough. It seems sudden but may have been a long time coming.

And don't forget skin changes. You are not the same age, and your skin's condition and needs may have changed. Make whatever adjustments are needed within the brand you like and see if it makes a difference. Otherwise it is time to move on. Look at it as a new adventure! And there are some amazing new developments out there for you to experience and enjoy.

So go out, experience, and enjoy!
