Go get it – Clinique Repair Wear Laser Focus Serum

All about staying beautiful. Beauty tips, tricks, advice and inside knowledge on products, trends and shows

Let’s get this clear right off of the bat – I am hard to impress when it comes to new skin care products. I have heard it all and been promised everything from a creaseless complexion to a perfect perky bottom in two weeks. I just have a hard time believing something that sounds too good to be true. But a few months ago, I got a press release and a package that restored my faith. Just launched nationwide is Clinique’s Repairwear Laser Focus Wrinkle & UV Damage Corrector (…catchy name, eh? Slips right off the tongue…), and I tell you what - this one actually lives up to the hype.

Repairwear Laser Focus is a serum that is used twice a day under any moisturiser and can even be used around and over the delicate eye area. Did you realise that genetics play an incredibly small role in the way your skin ages? Only around 20%. UV damage and the way you live your life contributes to the other 80%. UV light from the sun, artificial sources such as halogen and fluorescent light, and even more so our beloved computers all quickly work to damage the skin’s DNA and breaks down the support system leaving you with pigment damage, loss of elasticity, and dreaded lines and wrinkles.

In the past, one of the most effective ways to reverse some of the damage was to undergo laser treatment to irritate and damage the lower cells just enough to trigger the collagen and elastin production again to help restore some of the fullness and support our skin used to have. The downside is that you are red and burned, you need to have time to recover and you can be left with uneven pigment. Not to mention the expense. And the best anti-ageing laser is the Erbium Laser. Now get this – Clinique Repairwear Laser Focus was clinically tested against Erbium Laser treatment and was proven to give you 62% of the exact same results in only three months without any of the negative side effects. Not only that nut lines and wrinkles – especially crow’s feet – were reduced in both length and depth by 50% in only four weeks. Knowing the industry and what is on offer, had I been given the clinical results and trial information without knowing what company had produced it and asked what I thought the product would cost? I wouldn’t have even started a penny below £150. And wouldn’t have been surprised to hear as high as £250. Clinique Repairwear Laser Focus costs £35. No…that is not a typographical error…I said £35. And the texture is amazing. Skin feels immediately smooth and silky. It may not force your skin to forget the damage you have done over the years, but it will at least help it to forgive you!

Whether you are 20 years old and want prevention, 30 years old and are looking to keep the skin maintained, or are more mature and looking to get visible results: Clinique Repairwear Laser Focus is for you. Available nationwide now for just £35 for a 30ml bottle. What are you still sitting there for? Go and get it now before it has all walked off of the shelves!
