Kate Middletons at university
Kate Middleton, born Catherine Elizabeth Middleton, has been on quite a journey during the last eight years, thanks to her relationship with Prince William which has propelled her into the public eye. Recently engaged and now set to marry in what is already being hailed the wedding of the decade (no pressure then!), one things for sure, Kates life will never be the same again.
Its not surprising she has undertaken quite a transformation from young 21-year-old student to 29-year-old princess-to-be. From her corkscrew curls at university to her new deluxe blow-dries and flawless complexion, we cant help but think Kate will adapt really quite well to royal, married life.

Kate models in a university fashion show, where she allegedly first caught Williams eye. Her hair is curlier and more natural looking these are clearly the pre-professional blow-dry days.

Isnt she cute! Kate couldnt look happy whilst out on official visits on the lead up to her April wedding. Shes really working on that quintessential Middleton blowdry, particularly with those loose curls and her hair swept across one shoulder.

On her wedding day, Kate famously did her own make-up, but left her hair in the capable hands of her hairdresser Richard Ward. She decided against an up-do, and instead kept her trademark mane loose and curly, going for a half-up half-down do so William would recognise her at the aisle. Ahhh.

Kate has really pulled out the stops fashion and beauty-wise on her first official royal tour of North America. Instead of opting for her classic
blow-dry,
Kate
has showcased a few different looks whilst in Canada (probably something to do with her hair stylist, James Pryce from the
Richard Ward
salon, being part of her entourage!) We particularly love this
up-do that she rocked at the National Canada Day evening celebrations!

Kate is known for her trademark blow dry and curls, as well as her fondness for black eye liner and minimal make-up, but while on tour in the States, shes pulled out a few new hairstyles. We love her half-up, half-down hairstyle here, with her elegant bun. Proof that shes starting to branch out from the gorgeous look thats made her such a beauty and fashion icon.

A red carpet appearance in Hollywood means one thing a mega-watt blow dry for the Duchess! Pulling out all the stops, she goes for an even more voluminous curly hairstyle than usual. Shes also gone for a smoky eye and strong eye brow, as well as a rosy lip for the occasion, stepping up her normal make-up routine.
