Back with a vengeance this month, Beyoncé releases her third solo album. This sassy starlet is not only a serious career chameleon - she\'s been lead singer of Destiny\'s Child, a movie star and fashion designer, - but she now has some serious show stopping style. Here we see a fresh-faced Beyoncé when she first stepped on to the music scene in Destiny\'s Child. Au-naturel with brown hair and tight curls, this young fresh talent looks a far cry from the glamour kitten she has become today.

With Destiny\'s Child ruling the charts, Beyoncé began experimenting with her look. This was the first time she coloured her hair blonde and started to look more like the lead singer of the newest It-band to hit the scene. With heavy make-up and false eyelashes Beyoncé actually looks way beyond her young years here.

Although we are not quite sure about the dark roots and flicking out bangs, the minimal make-up and smoky eyes are a great look for Beyoncé. This gives her a more girl-next-door look than the sex-bomb extravaganza her fans are used to.
