Kristen Stewart may be best known for her scruffy off duty style, but she has just been snapped up by the legendary French fashion house Balenciaga as the face of their next perfume, which will be released later this year. Celebrities front fragrance campaigns all the time, but this is Kristen’s first foray into this area and we are excited to see the pictures.
Ms Stewart has frequently worn Balenciaga on the red carpet and is something of an alternative style icon. According to Womens’ Wear Daily, she chose to work with this particular brand because “It’s just cool. I feel drawn to it. It provokes on a number of levels. It isn’t afraid or contrived and it hits a very cool balance, always.” There’s no doubt that her striking, mysterious good looks will look incredible in the campaign pictures – she’s following in the footsteps of Charlotte Gainsbourg, who is currently the face of the L’Essence by Balenciaga Paris.
The current fragrance is a light, spring-like scent, with central notes of violet, pepper, moss and vetiver. It has yet to be revealed what the next offering from Balenciaga will be, but we can’t wait to find out – along with a couple of million Twilight fans, who will want to smell just like Bella Swan!
