In fact, as a teenager (and before the advent of ceramics) she even admitted to ironing her hair in a bid to get it to behave. Eventually, she grew to love her natural texture, and as an up-and-coming actress Nicole Kidman embraced her natural corkscrew curls - before reverting to a Veronica Lake-esque side sweep, which has since become her signature style. Recently, however, Nicole has returned to her roots and her bouncy, strawberry-blonde curls are making a comeback...showing that you can take the girl out of the curls, but you can\'t take the curls out of the girl.

Naturally slender, Nicole favours holistic forms of exercise and has said: "I like yoga and swimming because you are gently taking care of your body. Gently is a word I use a lot!" She maintained her regime through her pregnancy and was even spotted popping to the gym just weeks before she gave birth. It certainly worked - the stunning star regained her pre-pregnancy figure in less than two months!
