Last night saw beauty giants Estee Lauder - with the help of their spokesmodel Elizabeth Hurley - light up the Tower Of London pink to help raise funds for Breast Cancer. Liz braved some cold October weather and the Tower Of London cobbles (everyone knows cobble stones and six-inch heels don't mix) to light up this year's landmark, and we were lucky enough to be sipping warm mulled wine on the sidelines to witness this illuminating spectacle.
Looking super glam, Liz was quite stunning in a deep fuchsia one-shoulder dress that showed off her fantastic curves. Standing alongside William Lauder and Per Neuman from Estee Lauder, Liz pushed the button that turned this historical British building a pretty shade of pink.
You might be fooled into thinking this was a one-off event because Estee Lauder rarely do things by halves and their tireless plight to raise money for Breast Cancer never ends. To date they have lit up more than 200 global landmarks in pink lights and raised a whopping $35m. If you lined up the 80 million pink ribbons they have distributed it would stretch from New York to China! Hmm, we feel a new fundraising idea coming on - although it may be a tad too far for Liz to walk in her heels...
