We love the sun and when there is a glimmer of some rays we do everything in our power to be in them. We are wearing light clothes to work, flip-flops and sun screen to protect our skin… but what about our face? Believe it or not, even on those not-so-sunny days the sun and UV rays effect our skin and prematurely age it so if you don’t already use a daily moisturiser that contains SPF protection it’s about time you started! Clarins Hydra Quench Lotion SPF 15

This is a lovely, lightweight lotion that soaks into the skin easily and it certainly feels like it's feeding thirsty skin! Fresh smelling with an easy pump applicator it's also creates a nice base for your make-up. Perfect for everyday use in the heat of the city!

Neutrogena Day Cream with Active Soy SPF 15

This comes out fairly thick but soaks in surprisingly well and doesn't leave skin feeling greasy at all. It's got a delicate, fresh smell and leaves skin really soft - almost with a matt effect. Great size tube for going away and light enough for daily summer use with a nice SPF protection. It's definitely a high street hottie!

Ponds Regener-Activ Day Cream SPF 15

Ponds have been around for years and although they have developed their formulas to keep up with the times, the price point on this little gem is great! It's a non-greasy, pink cream that soaks well into the skin with a really fresh scent. It has a good SPF 15 for the summer and the ingredients in this Regener-Activ cream are supposed to promote younger firmer looking skin too. It's an oldie but goodie.

Dior HydrAction Visible Defence Hydra Protective Rich Cream SPF 20

This Dior cream is fairy thick but that doesn't stop it melting into the skin quickly and leaving it feeling soft and non greasy. It's got a great SPF 20 for complete daily protection, especially for those with fairer skin, and the creams formulator also helps with fine lines. It's a pay day pleaser!

Dermalogic Sheer Moisture SPF 15

We loved the application of this cream. It's in a great little tube, meaning it's fuss free and enables you to squeeze out just the right amount. It's fragrance-free but the herbs and nuts in the ingredients give it a really nice scent. It soaks in super quick and leaves skin feeling really velvety. It's oil free and contains a nice punch of anti- oxidant ingredients to really protect the skin daily.
