When we first heard of minerals it was all about the powder…now we get fantastic foundations, eye shadows, lipsticks and even blushers. So for makeup they claim you can safely sleep in we tried 5 of the best mineral blushes to give you a rosy cheeked look on a dull autumn day…

Dr Hauschka mineral blusherDr Hauschka Rouge Powder

"This was a really gorgeous blusher, the shade is very natural and thankfully the finish is matt so you are not left with glowing cheeks! The result is a really pretty flushed look that lasts all day...perfect!"

The Body Shop mineral blushersThe Body Shop Nature's Minerals Make-up Cheek Colour

"These pretty little pots are lovely and the muslin effect stops too much of the powder getting onto your brush which is really handy making it super easy to apply. It gave a nice bitten cheek effect, perfect for autumn! A high street hottie"

glo Minerals powder blushergloBlush from gloMinerals

"From the brand that knows all about minerals, this was a really lovely shade that applied evenly onto the skin without leaving me with over-coloured cheeks which never look nice. The texture feels soft and the powder is light. The finished effect is smooth matt skin with a hint of natural colour."

Laura Mercier mineral blusher potLaura Mercier Mineral Cheek Colour

"This beautiful blusher has an ultra fine texture which gives even, flawless coverage. The pot has a muslin effect mesh meaning you get a measured application and the swivel shield that covers it means the precious powder won't get wasted - hurrha! If you want to splash out on achieving pretty peachy cheeks, then this is the pot for you!"

"This is a really well known brand that produces great mineral makeup and after being a fan of the foundation I was eager to try the blusher. The handy little pot was a really nice natural colour and had a lovely finish on the skin. Great texture of powder too - very fine and light meaning you don't get a messy bulk of colour. Loved it!"
