1. Bourjois 1001 lashes mascara, £8.80, available nationwide
"The Bourjois crew might be exaggerating slightly with the ‘1001 lashes' title but still I'm a sucker for a lash lengthening mascara. This new offering from Bourjois certainly managed to define and coat each and every lash I do have which really opened my peepers up."

2. Organix Shampoo & Conditioner, £5.99, available at Boots, Debenhams, Tesco, Sainsbury's
"The more I learn about organic hair and skin care the more I want to change my pampering habits. These irresistible shampoos and conditioners leave my hair soft and shiny thanks to the gentle sulphate-free formula - and the packaging is eco-friendly too."

3. Suqqu Mild Skin Care Soap, £28, Selfridges, London
"I thought I'd grown out of getting spots, but apparently not, and after trying various facial cleansers I discovered Suqqu mild skin care soap. It lathers like a dream, has a delicious clean, fresh scent and left my distressed skin soft but thoroughly cleansed without the use of any harsh chemicals."

4. Trilogy Certified Organic Rosehip Oil, £15.65, trilogyproducts.com
"Whenever my skin is looking less than radiant I turn to this organic oil from Trilogy to turn it around with a boost of moisture to restore plumpness. And my purchase will help rescue and rehabilitate cute little orangutans thanks to Trilogy's donation to the Borneo Orangutan Survival Foundation."

5. Origins GinZing Refreshing Eye Cream, £20, origins.co.uk
"This eye cream is clinically proven to instantly reduce the appearance of dark circles. After a heavy night (not out on the town, unfortunately, but with a poorly toddler) a slick of this reduced my Halloween-esque eye bags enough to allow me to venture out without scaring folk."
