Dannii Minogue has come a long way since her Home And Away days in the 1980s. She has racked up over 12 UK No 1 hits with songs such as This Is It and the dance track You Won't Forget About Me, and also survived a marriage break-up and those plastic surgery rumours.

Today Dannii is a glamorous judge on The X-Factor, one of the UK's biggest reality shows, and has been propelled back into the limelight. OK, so she's been affected by some bad press over rows with fellow judge Louis Walsh - remember last season's tears - and don't mention younger, skinner co-host, the nation's darling Cheryl Cole. But regardless Dannii has never given in and has always held her head up high in the face of a bad situation. We have to say we are impressed at her strong will and determination to succeed, all while looking rather glam. Dannii may have been down but now she is up, well and truly up.
