Kate was an only child and spent much of her youth moving house all over America's East Coast. Modesty and perseverance were important in the Bosworth household, which the stunning star still stands by today. She often jokes, "If I ever started drifting up, my father would pull me down so fast." It's unlikely this star will be allowed to throw a diva tantrum.

Her acting call came early in the life when she attended a casting call for Robert Redford's The Horse Whisperer. With only the experience of working in a community theatre production of Annie and her picture from a Christmas family portrait, young Miss Bosworth charmed her way to become the female lead's best friend in the film. If only we looked so good in our family portraits that it won us leading acting roles.
